Scythia and Thracia
Thracia used to be a part of Scythia at certain point of history. Many of the people who were membering the ex-USSR and the few satellite countries such as Russian, Belarusian, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Poland, Kazakhstan, Parts of Afghanistan, Kamboja, Romania, parts of Bulgaria were Scythians (Soviets), though there were such as Yugoslavia, eastern Iran, southwestern Pakistan which wasn’t. Scythia’s theritory was ending to nowdays Dobruja region in North-East Bulgaria including my own birth place Dobrich. Scythians were very craftul in metallurgy, perhaps this explains why metalurgy was so developed in the Soviet Union. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scythia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thracia Thracian civillizaion is also amazingly interesting and worthy for a deep research but I don’t have time for that.
