If you’re used to MobaXTerm on Windows (as a Linux user) and wondering what could be a good terminal emulator substitute for default mac’s term you should definitely take a look at ITERM2 (A terminal emulator for Mac that does Amazing things) – http://iterm2.com/features.html.
ITerm2 is probably the closest alternative to mobaxterm you can get on Mac OS, if combined with Mac Ports or Homebrew you can get a decent software that you used from Cygwin or on Linux / BSD. Among the best things of Iterm is its search interface / AutoComplete / Mouseless Copy / Paste History (very much like Ditto), you can have multiple profiles (saved) properly supports Slavonic languages like Bulgarian and Russian. It has the standard Linux middle button paste unix look and feel / Replay (possiblity to get back in time), resizability and generally plenty of other useful configurability options, Split Planes and many more. If you’re coming. For those who are used to rxvt on Linux another one you might like is rxvt-unicode available via Mac Ports.
