This morning I was in a Church in Center of Beograd – Saborna Crkva u Beogradu – http://www.saborna-crkva.com/ . It is really interesting too see the minor differences between Bulgarian Orthodox Church and Serbian Orthodox Church. It is evidently that Serbian people seem to have stronger realized faith than Bulgarian. In Church there was plenty of young people, something rarely to see in Bulgaria (even in our cathedral temple saint Alexander Nevski – during no feast time you can rarely see youngsters). I took the sacraments by God’s grace. I had a confession with a serbian priest who could understand most of what I said in Bulgarian and what he didn’t he understood in Russian. Life in Beograd seems great and Serbian people seem to be warm, hospitable and very communicative. Yesterday we was in Monastery nearby Beograd (Kaona Monastery). The monastery is very well organized it has a monastic lake, sheeps, chicken, ducks. Kaona monatery is all surrounded by woods and has a Grave Church nearby. The nature in Serbia is extremely beautiful. Also in Church people are very good willing. Yesterday we baptized the 23 days (new born baby daughter) of my marriage godparents Galin and Andrea. The baptism was conducted by the abbot (archimandrite) Philimon. My wife Svetlana is enjoying a lot Seriban life. What is interesting for Svetlana is Serbian because it has a lot of similarities with Russian and on the other hand is very close language to Bulgarian.

Serbian people are very nationalistic by nature, with a mindset that every Serb is the greatest person in the Universe (this is rumors I heard though I can’t confirm it by my own experience so far).

Yesterday we was also in the city center of Beograd in the famous Medieval park (Fortress) KaleMegdan. Kalemegdan is the greatest and biggest fortress I’ve seen in my life so far. The side view from the fortress is to Dunau river and Sava River. Sava river is separating Beograd on two sides, it was quite a news for me Beograd is a “river city”. Currently in Beograd lives about 1 600 000 million ppl. I didn’t have opportunity to see night life, cause we were really tired yesterday, but anyways woman in Serbia are very beautiful.
