The Jewish themselves admit the main use of the Star of David “Magen David” or also Shield of David was used mainly in magical and alchemy practices and in general is more to be related with occult throughout history. Some claim it was invented by Solomon but I guess that’s a non-sense. Its interesting Jewish believe that David had a special shield a Shield of David which was magical and protecting him from evil and had the Star of David on it, well this is there legends. But we christians know this is not true.
