St. Euphemia (III century) martyr who prooved Monophysitism is heresy visit Elder Paisios

saint-Euphomia-who-prooved-monophysisum-visiting-elder-Paisios
St. Euphemia is a saint whose miracle has clearly proofed which one is true Christianity when there was a argue between Monophysites and Orthodox Christians on 4th Ecumenical Council

Here is the miracle of saint Eupemia by whose testimony (miracle) shown which is the true Christian (Orthodox) doctrine

“The Miracle of Saint Euphemia the All-Praised: The holy Great Martyr Euphemia (September 16) suffered martyrdom in the city of Chalcedon in the year 304, during the time of the persecution against Christians by the emperor Diocletian (284-305). One and a half centuries later, at a time when the Christian Church had become victorious within the Roman Empire, God deigned that Euphemia the All-Praised should again be a witness and confessor of the purity of the Orthodox teaching.

In the year 451 in the city of Chalcedon, in the very church where the glorified relics of the holy Great Martyr Euphemia rested, the sessions of the Fourth Ecumenical Council (July 16) took place. The Council was convened for determining the precise dogmatic formulae of the Orthodox Church concerning the nature of the God-Man Jesus Christ. This was necessary because of the widespread heresy of the Monophysites [“mono-physis” meaning “one nature”], who opposed the Orthodox teaching of the two natures in Jesus Christ, the Divine and the Human natures (in one Divine Person). The Monophysites falsely affirmed that in Christ was only one nature, the Divine [i.e. that Jesus is God but not man, by nature], causing discord and unrest within the Church. At the Council were present 630 representatives from all the local Christian Churches. On the Orthodox side Anatolius, Patriarch of Constantinople (July 3), Juvenal, Patriarch of Jerusalem (July 2), and representatives of St Leo, Pope of Rome (February 18) participated in the conciliar deliberations. The Monophysites were present in large numbers, headed by Dioscorus, the Patriarch of Alexandria, and the Constantinople archimandrite Eutychius.
After prolonged discussions the two sides could not come to a decisive agreement.
The holy Patriarch Anatolius of Constantinople proposed that the Council submit the decision of the Church dispute to the Holy Spirit, through His undoubted bearer St Euphemia the All-Praised, whose wonderworking relics had been discovered during the Council’s discussions. The Orthodox hierarchs and their opponents wrote down their confessions of faith on separate scrolls and sealed them with their seals. They opened the tomb of the holy Great Martyr Euphemia and placed both scrolls upon her bosom. Then, in the presence of the emperor Marcian (450-457), the participants of the Council sealed the tomb, putting on it the imperial seal and setting a guard to watch over it for three days. During these days both sides imposed upon themselves strict fast and made intense prayer. After three days the patriarch and the emperor in the presence of the Council opened the tomb with its relics: the scroll with the Orthodox confession was held by St Euphemia in her right hand, and the scroll of the heretics lay at her feet. St Euphemia, as though alive, raised her hand and gave the scroll to the patriarch. After this miracle many of the hesitant accepted the Orthodox confession, while those remaining obstinant in the heresy were consigned to the Council’s condemnation and excommunication.

Here is the story of holy Euphemia visiting Elder Paisios

One day Father Paisios was going through a very difficult phase. A problem was created in the Church at that time and many bishops had gone to him to ask for his help. However, it was a very complicated problem and even if he wanted to, he was unable to assist; as he said, no matter from which side you look at the problem, you come face to face with a spiritual impasse. So, he decided to turn his efforts to solve the problem with prayer. During that time, Father Paisios constantly prayed for God to give solution to the Church’s problem; he prayed especially to St. Ephemia:”St. Euphemia, you who miraculously solved the serious problem the Church was facing then, take the Church out of the present impasse!”

saint-Euphomia-visits-elder-Paisios-on-Holy-mount-Athos
One morning, at nine o’ clock, when Father Paisios was reading the service of the third hour, he suddenly heard someone discreetly knocking on his door. The Elder asked from inside:

“Who is it?” Then, he heard a woman’s voice answering:

“It is me, Euphemia, Father.”

“Which Euphemia?” He asked again. There was no answer. There was another knock on the door and he asked again. “Who is it?” The same voice was heard saying:

“It is Euphemia, Father.”

There was a third knock and the Elder felt someone coming inside his cell and walking through the corridor. He went to the door and there he saw St. Euphemia, who had miraculously entered his cell through the locked door and was venerating the icon of the Holy Trinity, which the Elder had placed on the wall of his corridor, on the right hand side of the church’s door. Then the Elder told the Saint: “Say: Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” St. Euphemia clearly repeated those words and immediately Father Paisios knelt and venerated the Saint. Afterwards, they sat and talked for quite a while; he could not specify for how long, as he had lost all sense of time while being with St. Euphemia. She gave the solution for all three matters he had been praying for and in the end he said to her: “I would like you to tell me how you endured your martyrdom.”

The Saint replied: “Father, if I knew back then how eternal life would be and the heavenly beauty the souls enjoy by being next to God, I honestly would have asked for my martyrdom to last for ever, as it was absolutely nothing compared to the gifts of grace of God!”

Towards the end of June, the doctors informed [Elder Paisios] that he had about 2-3 weeks left. On Monday, July 11, on St. Euphemia’s day, Father Paisios received Holy Communion for the last time, kneeling in front of his bed. During the last 24 hours, he was very serene, and even though he suffered, he did not complain at all. He did not wish to take any more medication. The only medicine he accepted was cortisone, because, according to the doctors, it would not prolong his life span, but it would only give him some strength. On Tuesday, July 12, Elder Paisios humbly and peacefully rendered his soul to God, whom he had deeply loved and served since his early childhood.

Google_plus-icon_-300x300
Get your Google+ URL is very easy however the description given by Google’s answers site on how to get google plus URL is obscure and very user unfriendly (in my opinion).
If you’re wondering why on earth would you ever need this URL, some useful place where you might need it is whether you’re a blogger like me and you need to link your blogspot or custom wordpress account with your google+ or you want it to link any other social network like Linkedin or Facebook to your Goo+

Below is a 3 steps guide to follow to get your Google+ account URL. The URL is not user friendly so you might also want to create a custom URL like:
plus.google.com/your_custom_link

1) Log in to Google+

2) Click on the this link or manually go to URL address http://plus.google.com/me

3) Look at the URL in the address bar, it should look something like this:

San Lorenzo Church dates as early as the beginning of IV century and is among the most ancient Churches in Milan.
Below is a bit of more info on Saint Protasius, Nazarius, Gervasius and Celsius of Milan.
The Holy Martyrs Protasius, Nazarius, Gervasius and Celsius of Milan suffered during the reign of the emperor Nero (54-68).

Saints Protasius and Gervasius were twin brothers from Mediolanum (Milan), the sons of wealthy Roman citizens, Vitalius and Valeria. When they received their inheritance from their parents, they distributed the money to the poor, freed their slaves, and occupied themselves with fasting and prayer. The pagans locked them up in prison because they were Christians. St Nazarius met them when he was visiting Christians in the Mediolanum prison. He so loved the twins that he wanted to suffer and die with them. The ruler heard that he was visiting the prisoners, so he had St Nazarius beaten with rods, then driven from the city.

Sts Nazarius and Celsius went to Milan and visited Gervasius and Protasius in prison. They were brought before Nero, who ordered that Sts Nazarius and Celsius be beheaded. Soon after this the holy brothers Gervasius and Protasius were also executed. The relics of all four martyrs were stolen by a Christian named Philip, and were buried in his house.

Many years later, during the reign of the holy Emperor Theodosius (408-450), St Ambrose, Bishop of Milan (December 7), discovered the relics of Sts Gervasius and Protasius through a revelation from God.

In the reign of Arcadius and Honorius, St Ambrose also discovered the relics of Sts Nazarius and Celsius. The holy relics, glorified by many healings, were solemnly transferred to the Milan cathedral.

Trip to Koprivshtitsa history preserved city, Kalofer and Kalofer Nun Monastery – “Birth of The Holy Virgin Mary”

Koprivstiza-ethnic-house
A bit outdated but I found it necessery to put here my travelogue from last week with Mitko my wife Svetlana and Margarita we went for a small trip to Kalofer. We wanted to have some rest with Mitko from the very static life we live as system administrators in HP and Interoute. The initial plan was to visit Kalofer however on our way to there Margarita suggested we have a few hours visit to Koprivshtitsa is a mountain city situated nearby Klisura, Panagiurishte, Pirdop, Klisura and Strelcha. It is one of the most famous tourist hotposts in Bulgaria.

koprivschica-oslekova-kyshta-bulgaria-museum

What makes Koprivshtitsa so famous is its huge connection with the Bulgarian liberation war against Turkish enslaving that wasted from 1840 until liberation of Bulgaria in 1878. Our liberation come true thanks to the Russo-Turkish War, however 1877-1878, however Bulgaria made a lot of steps until we were supported by our Russian brothers in Christ to liberate. Koprivshtitsa was a birth place of a number of notable Bulgarians like Luben Karavelov, a home of yearly Bulgarian school enlightenment. Koprivshtitsa is probably most famous with the April revort attempt to liberate Bulgaria from 5 centuries of Turkish slavery. In the small town inhabited by approximately 2300 constantly living inhabitans, one can see the Bulgarian ethnic life from the XIX century, the whole city is preserved like it used to look 150 years ago, the houses architecture is from the revival Bulgarian period and is quite unique and interesting to see.
koprivschica-house-museum-room

The town used to be also a major trade center in the past and had a strong tradition of carpet weavening. Also over the centuries local inhabitants were famous for their stock breeding where historically inhabitants had the record count of about 12000.

koprivschica-house-museum-in-very-beautiful-architecture-bulgaria

The most interesting fact in Koprivshtitsa history is the creation of the Bulgarian revolutionary commutee – created by greatest revolutionary of Bulgaria of all times (the apostle of freedom) Vasil Levsky.

koprivschica-cyrkva-uspenie-bogorodichno

In 1876 a revolt fires up and the Turkish Commander (Bashibozluk) with the Turkish “police” slaughtered most of the citizens and the city was plundered, soon after another Turkish pasha came and robbed all unraked in the city.

izgled-koprivschica
Koprivshcica is a home place of the famous Bulgarian poet and author who died during the First World War. Each year in Koprvschica Balkan (Old Mounta Stara Planina), there is a Koprivschica openair folklore songs and dance festival and we were lucky to see this nice event too. It is interesting fact that according to legislation if new buildings are built in the town they have to be the architecture style of the 19th century just like the rest of the town. As the town is a mountain one there is outstanding nature all around and a river flowing nearbly …

After leaving Koprivschica we continued our trip to Kalofer another revolutionary city that played key role in liberation of Bulgaria from Turkish.

kashta-ekskurzii-muzei

Kalofer‘s most famous thing is the museum (born House) of another of the great Bulgarian liberation revolutionaries – Hristo Botev is one of the Bulgarian most important – 100 national museums (tourists sites) of Bulgaria.

born-house-museum-of-Hristo-Botev

Botev is important for his overtake of the German ship Radetsky and entering in Bulgaria to rise up a Bulgarian revolt against Turkish empire.

kalofer_hristo_botev

There is not much to say about Kalofer except it is really, really cheap place for resort and it is generally beautiful city as well however it is a place if you want to have a rest from the noisy life. There is really nothing in that city to see except a 2 old Churches on the city center, few old houses in the same style as Koprivschica and a beatiful mountain nature nearby. There is just few places where you can go to buy some food and few resturants and that’s all. We found a room costing only 5 euro per person / night, and the price is outstanding. The city is divided by a river like most of the Bulgarian mountain cities. Also Kalofer is probably great place for people who like mountain hiking journeys. About 6 / 7 km from Kalofer deep in the mountain is situated a nun Kalofer monasteryThe Birth of The Mother of God. Kalofer has two monasteries but I didn’t hae the time to visit the othermale monastery.

kaloferski-nun-monastery

Kalofer Nun monastery is small sister-hood and the Abbotess is around 80 year old! Nun Kalofer monastery is very blessed place to go and very hard to go by car as the road to it is steep and hard to drive in.

I’ve learned that nearby Kalofer monastery there is another small Skete, where alone only one lady lives almost like a hermit.

Best place to marry in Bulgaria, Vladimir and Ina’s wedding and Trip to Karlovo – The birth place of brightest Bulgarian Revolutionary Vasil Levsky

This Saturday and Sunday – 16.08.2014 – 17.08.2014, we were invited for my dear friend Vladimir’s wedding in the amazingly beautiful mountain town Karlovo. Karlovo along with Troyan and Sopot was the heart from where Bulgarian Revolutionary activities originated which later led to Liberation of Bulgaria from Turkish Slavery.

We started the trip to Karlovo with the borrowed car from Mitko Honda Civic around 11:15 in one of the most traffic loadded times. We travelled through the Plovdiv’s highway which is a terrible highway (be very cautious if you travel to this highway – as it is mostly dangerous) . Along with the joyful event, we had quite unpleasent event a Car Incident (Car Crash). I was driving through the highway with 110 km an hour in the rightest slow speed strip and out of a parking a TIR truck appeared in order to prevent crashing with it, because the truck was quite close I’ve move to the other leftest strip where there was another car and we crashed so the left side mirror broke and flew away and the car was unstable for a while – by God’s great mercy – Thank you Lord Jesus!!! I was able to hold the car and keep it straight and moved to the emergency car strip. The other car with which we hit was with a Bulgarian married for a Hungarian lady, thanks God the guy was polite and admitted the hit we had was due to the crazy truck (probably Turkish driver – this guys are killers on the road really). In a short the police came and we explained the situation, due to truck which escaped after the accident we couldn’t blame noone, but in order to pay the insurance to the bulgarian-hungarian family, we had to write retributive act and I was the one responsible for the car incident because I didn’t hit the breaks but moved to the other strip (if I had to hit the breaks we would have hit the truck …). Anyways I have written an objection for I’m not really guilty as it was the truck driver who did entered half of my car strip, we moved to the closest gas station to fix the police act.

Thanks God even though the crash, everything was normal, the car was operating the left side-door which was hit still opened and closed as normal and the only, problem was to drive the car without left-side mirror. We drived that way without a left-mirror to Karlovo, though I was severely stressed by the whole situation and I’m thankful for my wife being near to encourage me and try to mitigate stress by keeping calm and clear spirit.

We had to find the Hotel where we were installed “Hotel Shterev“, situated right on the very center of the city. We were lucky to find the hotel in a very quick manner by only stopping twice asking for it and by God’s mercy we find a free parking space near old “probably” abondoned Mosque in the beginning of the center.

We had to walk only 3 minutes and we were in Hotel and were accomodated in few minutes in a very confortable and good looing 1 room apartment with a luxurious bathroom (the bath had even a call phone in case of emergency – if somethings wrong happens in the bathroom), the room was equipped with fire-alarm, an aircondition and a TV and free-internet. We had to take a quick bathroom and call for a taxi because the marriage ceremony was to happen in a small village near Karlovo Sokolica in a complex restaurant-hotel – Jiaev.

The hotel was more than a beautiful, a garden with artificial waterfall, a small artificial river, a beautiful grapeyards, an amazing sideview to the mountains, clear air in a very silent and clear aired place. Sokolica was amazingly small village probably with 637 inhabitants. We later learned Jaev is a famous marriage place and many people choose to marry, there because its cheap and its perfectly organized for marriages up to 120-140 people!!!

Yes this was the biggest marriage ceremony I was in 140 guests, were there! The marriage ceremony was only the standard ceremony that is without a Church marriage, so it was quick and the usual “bla-bla, we wish you live long in happiness and sorrow, keep your love and affection in the hardships etc. etc.“, even though generally the ceremony wording was much better if compared to other state-marriages I was into earlier for example on my cousin’s marriages in Burgas. Well yes it was cool and the Marriage couple was amazingly well dressed and both were young and beatiful as it was meant to be.

Before the ceremony, there was champaign for the guests and some accompanying small foods as it is in the cocktails. After the ceremony all the guests went to take a photo with the Just married couple. Then the marriage begun and all went to tables and started eating some nuts, drinking some wine and salad as it is in the traditional bulgarian marriages nowdays. We had some chat in that time in our table was another 12 people most of which were among the closest people of Vladimir – so I was mostly delighted to see how much Vlado (UTP) honors me, 2 of the people were Vlado’s cousins who live nowdays in London England and it was an interesting time to have some interaction and know a bit about London and the emigrant life of Bulgarians in London. All went as it should Alex was on our table among with the classmate from school years Kamen, another friend from early teenage company years “Chocho”, almost all were families and many were with kids, so we had heard some stories about kids etc. etc.

There were plenty of nice music and most importantly no-chalga (which is like a bulgarian-serbian-turkish ethno music). The music selection was really good, there as a life band playing some nice music. Plenty of national dances – the horo dance, some Bulgarian traditions were there too like the kick of the menche (a small vessel filled with water on top of which is a red and white flower), it is believed that according to how many times the vessel moves after being kicked this could foretell the first kid of the bride (will it be a boy or a girl). Well there was plenty of Alcohol and Alex got quite high as he usually does when, there is plenty of alcohol – No offense Alex I’m telling the truth 🙂

There was the first dance, the cutting of the marriage cake etc. We got back to the Hotel about 3 o’clock went to bed and on the other day we had a walk in Karlovo which is town with amazingly beautiful architecture of houses and buildings. Everything is small but very well preserved and many of the buildings are from the early 19th century.

We were to the Amazingly big Church – The Dormition of the Virgin Mary which has the size of a Cathedral and shows clearly the huge faith the locals had in the past (and probably in present).

The prices were amazingly cheap, a coffee costs about 0.80 stotinki (0.40 euro cents) and a quick breakfast like banice is just 0.50 eu cents.

There are few museums including the national museum, the statue of Vasil Levsky, what makes the town of Karlovo distinctive is it is the birth place of the Apostle of Freedom Vasil Levsky – who was among key players who led Bulgarians to the Liberation of Bulgaria in 1876.

The birth house of Vasil Levsky is also is preserved and a museum, in there is plenty of interesting artefacts from Bulgarian Liberationa and post liberation times, intersting information about liberation, exposition of how the traditional bulgarian home looked in that times and probably most interesting the hair pair of the archideacon Vasil Levsky.

The national museum of Vasil Levsky is one of Bulgaria’s 100 national tourist places to visit.

After the museum we had a walk around the city center, visited the Church with Cathedral size where I bought two nice books about the living of Saint John of Kronstadt
and another book titled “Is there God?“.

Then I drinked a quick coffee and get some quick food and jumped to car and drived back to Sofia. By God’s grace, we safely arrived Sofia even without a left-side mirror – Svetlana was a big help and served the service of a left-mirror 🙂

Howto add adsense advertisements to your StatusNet micro blogging social Network

howto-add-adsense-to-statusnet-social-network-free-twitter-like-service
If you’re running your own statusnet micro blogging network and you happen to have a lot of content inside which you want to monetarize, sooner or later you will think of embedding Google Adsense advertisements to StatusNet.

I’ve found few discussions online like the thread on statusnet forums.
However there is no clear tutorial online yet explaining how to add adsense to statusnet, therefore, I decided to write this little guide.

Luckily StatusNet has a special Adsense Plugin enabling you to include adsense advertisements into your statusnet.

To enable advertising, you must sign up with Google Adsense and get a client ID.

https://www.google.com/adsense/

You’ll also need to create an Adsense for Content unit in one
of the four sizes described above. At the end of the process,
note the “google_ad_client” and “google_ad_slot” values in the
resultant Javascript.

If you’re a programmer check out StatusNet Adsense Plugin code in

/var/www/statusnet/plugins/Adsense/AdsensePlugin.php

Even if you’re not a programmer it is quite easy to add new Adsense sizes, however you have to be sure the new size placement in browser will show correctly.

The way to enable / use the plugin is to add in your /var/www/statusnet/config.php

line:

addPlugin(‘Adsense’, array(‘client’ => ‘ca-pub-6964339082113074’, ‘rectangle’ => ‘2824360868’));

The general Syntax of addPlugin(); is

addPlugin(‘Adsense’, array(‘client’ => ‘Your client ID’, ‘rectangle’ => ‘slot’));

Where client should be your adsense code google_ad_client,

rectangle field could be one of the values:

‘mediumRectangle’, ‘rectangle’, ‘leaderboard’, ‘wideSkyscraper’

Each of this values should be selected based on the width and size of the Google Adsense Ads to be shown.

Here are the general sizes:

MediumRectangle – To show Ads sized width 300 height 250 (300×250)

rectangle – 180×150

wideSkyscaper – 160×600

Leaderboard – heigh x width ( 728 x 90 )

Note that:
Some StatusNet themes might interact quite poorly with this plugin.

It could take some time until ads start appearing on page as after generation in adsense to make it working it takes up to 10 / 15 minutes for it to become active

Once config.php is saved check out, whether Adsense advertisements will appear in the left top of your StatusNet, right below the Search field, like on below screenshot.

adsense-advertisements-on-my-statusnet-social-network-howto

If it doesn’t appear there and you have the code embedded scroll down to StatusNet and check out whether adsense ads are not partially visualized (this sometimes happens if you try to insert adsense code with dimensions bigger than the size of its right pane, if that’s the case you should see your Ads visualize somewhere on the bottom left of page.

Well that’s all, hopefully if your statusnet gets a good traffic and is frequently updated you will start making money with adsense.

How to add Google Adsense to BuddyPress WordPress?

howto-add-adsense-to-buddypress-and-wordpress-without-plugin

If you have installed Multi-site BuddyPress or WordPress you can easily add adsense advertisements and there is no need to use any plugin or anything to add Adsense ads to Widgets.

This site itself is running BuddyPress and my quick research on plugin to use to add Adsense ads just led me to various suggestions plenty of different approaches like:

None of this however doesn’t seemed to work for me until finally I found this post pointing out that it is possible to use embedded WordPress Widgets to add the required code to WordPress.

I’ve tested and it seems, the Widget using Method to inject advertisements into your BuddyPress social network works perflectly fine.

Here is how to add Adsense to BuddyPress

1.

Login with adminsitrator to wp-admin or whatever URL you put for admin

2.

sites-all-sites-dashboard-add-adsense-to-buddypress-wordpress-screenshot

Sites -> All Sites -> Dashboard

3.

On the next page to display go to

add-appearance-widget-in-buddypress-add-adsense-code-in-widget-wordpress-buddypress

Appearance -> Widgets

4.

On this page Drag and Drop

Text Widget

(Hold on Text Widget with mouse button and drag to ordered list of Widgets to show on page)

add-text-to-widget-add-adsense-code-to-buddypress-and-wordperss-howto-pic

5.

Add a title to the newly added Text field to Widgets (lets say just type Ads)

And then paste the generated from Google Adsense interface Google Adsense code:

howto-add-adsense-tobuddypress-wordpress-installation-easy-without-plugin

Then press the Save button to save the Widget and if you need drag and drop between the available Widgets to change the exact place where Adsense Ads will appear.

That’s all give thanks to The Lord Jesus Christ for finding this post 🙂

A night in a hospitable citizen of Shabla a near sea town (village) in Bulgaria

Shabla centara muzei - Krasotata na Shabla - he Beauty of Shabla village great and cheap resort in north-east Bulgaria - one of best wild beaches in bg
This friday night we travelled from Sofia to Shalba with my best friend Dimitar Paskalev (a.k.a. Nomen). We started the trip from Mladost 3, bl. 351B, we took a taxi with Svetlana from Mladost to Mitko’s address Citi Jarden gen. Georgi Raichev 21. From there we had to wait for a while Mitko because he had to go for some shopping with his girlfriend Margarita. Because of that we started the trip quite late about 21:40.

We had to take two other friends Kliment from Goce Delchev and Samuil (Samuel) from Sofia University. We left Sofia about 10:20 and had to travel to Shabla until early morning about 06:00 morning. We had a nice useful talks on topic of Christian faith and philosophy.

We stopped about 4 times on oil stations to put some gas and have a rest and had safely arrived Shabla passing by near Balchik’s villa zone and seeing the beatifulness of sun rise and beatiful hills nearon Balchik. Travelling in this region of Bulgaria, just like my birth place Dobrich one sees a lot of planes and planted land with sunflowers, corn and weed.

It is my second coming to Shabla, the first time in Shabla was about 8 years ago when we were in cave place nearby Shabla called Rusalka and into Shabla camping and it was just for less than hour so I don’t have much of memories.

Now I have a good chance to refresh my memories on Shabla. From my impressions so far Shabla, is a tiny beatiful and cheap place to live nearby the sea (the sea coast) is just 7 km from Shabla. On the city center there is a beatiful church st. Haralampios (who by the way is a saint who helps to people who have demonic attacks).

Around 06:00 we were in Mitko and, following their old ways tradition the friends had a morning beer. We went to bed for some hours just to wake up about 13:30. We prepared dinner the bulgarian infamous “djidji-papa” which is simply torrefyed bread walloed in eggs.

Djidji papa the traditional bulgarian breakfast french toast
After having the quick break-lunch. Around 05:30 we went to beach on Mitko’s car. The water temperature was awesome about 22 / 23 degrees celsium. The beach is located 8 km from the village and is probably one of the last left “wild-beaches” not seriously filled with buildings.

Shabla’s beach is nice the only unpleasent think is when you enter the sea, there are sea shells which might cut your toes, apart from that the beach is quite nice and there are not many, so if you want to have without stress in solitude it is a great place to go. Shabla’s beach is the perfect beach for Christians with children who want to enjoy some swimming without the ruling vanity which is ruling on most beaches.

Nearby Shabla is a healing salty water and a healing mud, just like in many of the sea resorts in Bulgaria. Something unique about Shabla is richness of south birds to which the small village and nearby Shabla lake gives shelter during summer and spring.

Shabla is a “city of birds”, just walking the village streets you can see tons of swallows flying all around.

After the beach we were invited to have a our dinner in hospital neighbor, who always seem to invite Mitko when he is in shabla. As he lives here he produces always for himself the traditional bulgarian alcohol Rakia, his own vegetables (potatoes, tomatoes) etc. and all the food we were offered tasted much better than the usual food we ate from the supermarket. Shabla is a very quite and peaceful place, there is good developed infrastructure and most people here like typical villagers grow their food and a lot grow animals for meat (rabbits, chickens, pigs) etc. etc.

Actually I started realizing Bulgaria is very unique country with immersibly beatiful nature and very hospital people. Bulgarian hospitaliy is notorious. Tell me in how many countries someone will invite you to a dinner in his house if he doesn’t know you at all?

Mitko’s neighbor did that and I think this is worthy for respect.

This morning as it was Sunday, I went as usual to Church to Holy Liturgy to thank God for all the sent great mercies, pray for the world and well-being of the Church, my wife, my parents family, friends and enemies and all the world as we do always in the Orthodox Church. Unfortunately there was not to be a Holy Liturgy in the Church and we took Mitko’s car and went for the Church service to father Vasilij in Kavarna in the Church the Dormition of the Holy Theotokos. As always it is a blessing to be on a service led by fr. Vasilios, by Christ’s mercy, I confessed and took the holy sacraments – by the way today is an important feast within the Church we mark the memory of Saint Panteleimon (who is a healer a doctor and prays and helps with his fire prayers to all sick in the world).

After the Church service, we went for a coffee nearby the church and after that we went to eat from the delicios Bulgarian traditional “fast-food” Banitsa (which by the way is not so unhealthy like McDonalds / Burger King etc.).

We went back to Shabla with some pills to sober Mitko, Nomen and Samuel who drink heavily last night and needed way to fix their heavy headache 🙂

Also today the neigbor needed internet so I, Kliment and Mitko run a cable between mitko’s home with Internet and “Chicho (Uncle) Toshko” – the neigbor of Mitko.

Around 6 I went to see the small Shabla museum located in the city center. The place is very nice with a artificial lake with ducks and some rare plants. Also inside the big building there is small composition of photos a computer lab from which you can take a look to flora and birds nearby Shabla Lake as well as a small room with some found historic artifacts, most of which dating back 5 centuries (B.C.) Before Christ. I was played in the museum a short 20 minutes movie about remarkable things (birds, historical founding and way of wife) in and nearby Shabla and Dobrudja region.

Coming back I helped to the neibor of Mitko crimping few UTP cables and making their internet from Mitko’s house to Mitko work via a switch.

Here in Shabla you feel much more joy than in big stressed city like Sofia, you feel much free than in the big metropolitan cities and you feel God’s grace much abundant and the small village houses the greeny trees and everything set you in a true prayer mood.

Glory be to God and thanks for letting me one more day pass by!

((Scientific Facts Proving Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution is Wrong, False and Impossible))

Now before the Mods delete this, I would like to explore this as I am doing so in the wrong threads, so please bear with me. Please do not delete any of this as I want folks to at least read it, if you must, fine me points if necessary, but let me keep the text as I have presented it please.

The scoffers will immediately dismiss the source, but some who would like to discuss this would maybe like to dispute the information presented. If the source is absolute bunk then the brilliant minds here should be able to dismiss these ‘theories’ outright no?

I would like to do it this way if you don’t mind, Pick a number and then discuss only that number in your reply. Please title each of your responses with the number so readers can follow.

I will post mine first………as a reply to another thread with BH. It was brought up that evolution is only theory but supported by Science and that no Creation can be supported as such….so lets see.

Please lets keep it civil, (ME INCLUDED)

The body and soul of Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution was his idea that evolution was made possible through natural selection. This concept is based on the suggestion that those members of a species that are a little stronger, a little larger, or run a little faster will live longer to procreate offspring with these superior adaptations. Darwin’s theory suggests that millions of generations later the changes will result in new species. These adaptations are called links or intermediates.

Scientific Fact No. 1 – Birds Prove Natural Selection is Naturally Wrong

Help! I can’t fly. My head is too big, and my wings are too small.

The idea of natural selection sounds great when considering deer. The deer that can sense danger the quickest and run the fastest are able to escape the predator on a more consistent basis. However, other examples on the evolutionary tree have many laughable flaws. One of the best is the thought that a bird began to evolve a wing. Why this would occur is not answered by evolutionists. The wing stub did not make the bird more adaptable in his environment. The wing was much too small for the bird to fly. Why would a bird evolve a wing that was useless? This is backwards from the evolutionary natural selection concept that birds adapt and change in order to survive better in their environment. The bird with a half-size wing is placed at a disadvantage in its environment. Why would the bird continue for millions of generations improving a wing that was useless? The theory of evolution is based on natural selection of the most adaptable member of a species. A bird with a useless wing is at a severe disadvantage and the opposite from natural selection. According to natural selection the members of the bird species with the smallest useless wing would be the most adaptable and most likely to survive in the largest numbers. According to the theory of natural selection birds could never evolve to fly. Evolution is simply nonsense. This is so funny. We are then led to believe that some birds got tired of carrying around a worthless half-size wing so they grew fingers on the end to help climb trees. The wings became arms and a new species was developed. Evolutionists actually believe this nonsense.

Scientific Fact No. 2 – Species Without a Link Proves Evolution is Wrong

The evolutionist will claim that the presence of many individual species proves evolution. This shallow statement is devoid of reason, logic and scientific proof. Evolutionists line up pictures of similar looking species and claim they evolved one to another. Humans are a great example. There are hundreds of species of extinct monkeys and apes. Petrified skulls and bones exist from these creatures. Evolutionists line up the most promising choices to present a gradual progression from monkey to modern man. They simply fill in the big gaps with make-believe creatures to fit the picture. This procedure can be done with humans only because there are many extinct monkey and ape species. They never do this with giraffes and elephants. These pictures are placed in all evolutionists’ text books to teach kids this nonsense. The picture is simply a grouping of individual species that does not prove evolution.

Scientific Fact No. 3 – Single Cell Complexity Proves Evolution is Wrong

Scientists a century ago believed the smallest single living cell was a simple life form. The theory developed that perhaps lightning struck a pond of water causing several molecules to combine in a random way which by chance resulted in a living cell. The cell then divided and evolved into higher life forms. This view is now proven to be immature to the degree of being ridiculous. The most modern laboratory is unable to create a living cell. In fact, scientists have been unable to create a single left-hand protein molecule as found in all animals.

Scientific Fact No. 4 – Human Egg and Sperm Proves Evolution is Wrong

The evolutionist ignores the problem surrounding the human female egg and the male sperm in the evolutionary theory. The female egg contains the X-chromosome and the male sperm contains either an X-chromosome for the reproduction of a male or a Y-chromosome for the reproduction of a female. The female eggs all develop within the ovaries while she is a baby (fetus) within her mother’s womb. Evolutionists claim environmental factors cause small changes in the offspring in the evolutionary chain. However, the environmental experience of the female cannot change the chromosomes within her eggs and cannot have any effect upon her offspring. Her body cannot go into the eggs contained within her ovaries at her birth to make an intelligent change. Females cannot be a part of the evolutionary theory for these reasons.

Scientific Fact No. 5 – DNA Error Checking Proves Evolution is Wrong

The scientific fact that DNA replication includes a built-in error checking method and a DNA repair process proves the evolutionary theory is wrong. The fact is that any attempt by the DNA to change is stopped and reversed.

Scientific Fact No. 6 – Chaos From Organization Proves Evolution is Wrong

The second law of thermodynamics proves that organization cannot flow from chaos. Complex live organisms cannot rearrange themselves into an organism of a higher form as claimed by evolutionists. This is scientifically backwards according to the second law of thermodynamics that has never been proven wrong. Scientists cannot have it both ways. The second law of thermodynamics is proven to be correct. Evolution lacks any scientific proof. Evolution is simply an empty theory.

Scientific Fact No. 7 – Chromosome Count Proves Evolution is Wrong

There is no scientific evidence that a species can change the number of chromosomes within the DNA. The chromosome count within each species is fixed. This is the reason a male from one species cannot mate successfully with a female of another species. Man could not evolve from a monkey. Each species is locked into its chromosome count that cannot change. If an animal developed an extra chromosome or lost a chromosome because of some deformity, it could not successfully mate. The defect could not be passed along to the next generation. Evolving a new species is scientifically impossible. Evolutionists prove that getting a college education does not impart wisdom.

Scientific Fact No. 8 – Origin of Matter and Stars Proves Evolution is Wrong

Evolutionists just throw up their hands at the question of the origin of matter because they know something cannot evolve from nothing. They stick their heads in the sand and ignore the problem. The fact that matter exists in outrageously large quantities simply proves evolution is wrong. The “Big Bang” theory doesn’t solve the problem either. Matter and energy have to come from somewhere.

Scientific Fact No. 9 – Lack of Life on Mars Proves Evolution is Wrong

Two NASA two land rovers named Spirit and Opportunity explored Mars during 2004. The topography shows obvious signs of past liquid rivers flowing in numerous places. The rovers have proven that water was once abundant on the surface of Mars, but they have not been able to find any signs of life or any signs of past life on the planet. Mars has a proven history of flowing water on the surface and an atmosphere suitable to support life forms. The planet has had all of the conditions necessary to provide the “spark” of life according to the evolutionary theory, yet there is no life on Mars. The river beds and river banks show no signs of vegetation or trees. The ground has no fossils and no organisms. The place is absolutely sterile.

Scientific Fact No. 10 – Radio Silence from Space Proves Evolution is Wrong

Mars is not the only place that shows no signs of life. The entire universe lacks any sign of life. There are no radio signals that can be related to intelligent life forms. None of the billions of galaxies has been found to emit any intelligent radio signals. Scientists have been pointing every type of radio telescope possible into space for several decades in hopes of finding an intelligent signal. No signs of life beyond Earth have been found. We are alone.

Top Ten Scientific Facts Proving Evolution is False and Impossible

Now as a side note, I would like to present this article for discussion also, lets call it # 12 shall we? This one I need to look into as I do not quite follow this as I should even though I took Introductory Geology. I am really having trouble with any scientific explanation for this one.

I know I posted more than I should but most will not follow the link, maybe this way they will actually READ it before responding.
