Android: How To Change Default Video Player of a Gallery App on Tablet and phone

android-how-to-change-the-default-video-player-Click-clear-defaultsu
How do I change the default video player on Android Tablet or Mobile Phone?

It is is pretty annoying that by default the video player set in Gallery is not capable of opening of DivX ripped movies, especially for people who are totally untech savvy (like old People). I’ve been asked by a friend today who is in his 50s and it took me a while to figure it out on how to change (reset) default android video player.

Right now it is set to open and play videos in the default Android video player, but I want to use a better, more feature rich video player from the marketplace. I tried using apps that changed defaults, but they didn’t have any options for videos, just which default app would open pics.

Go into:

Settings>Applications>Manage application>find the video player

That’s default right now, click on it and find the clear default button.

After changing once I tried to open the video I’ve been asked again on what kind of player I want to open the video and whether I want the setting to stay perment.
Cheers! 🙂

Unique Preshistoric paintings Cave Magura near Belogradchik Rocks – Bulgaria

Magura_Cave_prehistoric-unique-paintings-Bulgaria-near-Belogradchik

Prehistoric Magura cave is located in North Bulgaria in the South slope in karstovski rid of Ribashka Mogila – sitauted 17 km north-west from Belogradchik.
Magura is one of the most unique Tourist destinations in Bulgaria for anyone interested in ancient and prehistoric history.

The Cave consists of few big and small halls and is one of the most unique naturally formed caves.
There in cave in middle of many Stalactites man feels like in another “magical” world.

In Magura cave there are life remains which are quite ancient and those who believe in “Evolution” theory which btw is being rejected by modern science claim the cave is from neolit epoche and there are signs of life until death of Roman Empire epoch.
It is claimed that the inhabitants during the prehistoric stone-mead-ian epoch. Remains from human inhabitants are found in al of the cave “galleries”.
The most original memorial of human life being in Magura-ta are prehistwall paintings in one of the galleries. They are considered a unique historical value creation of man because they were made in prehistoric epoch. Such a unique prehistoric civilization remains are not to be found in whole South-east Europe. The painting is a clear sign that Bulgarian country lands were inhabited by most ancient civlizations in Europe even in prehistoric times. So we need to be proud as Bulgarians.

The pictures are being separated in 8 groups, among which are 55 woman paintings, 23 men, 11 animal figures and 16 signs. Scenes are said by some prehistoric era researchers to cult of fertiliy, and signs / letters symbols connected to ancient magical believes which the cave inhabitants were using to pray for survival.

The pictures are made in different periods, eneolite, bronze epoch and some are in “newer.” epochs. Mostancient is image of galoping horse, which is dated to 12000 years (before Christ).
However as you can see yourself on the picture there is a cross and since as a Christian I know the world is a little bit more than 7500 years the 12000 years dating is impossible.
Ohra material was used for the painting, much later the painting was repeated with bat guano. Also it is evident on the picture a cross and we know that ancient times of old testament, there were primitive living people and in my opinion this paintings were done at time of Abraham and Jacob or a little bit after Noah’s (Noah ark’s) time.

Prehistoric pictures of prehistoric man were found in 1879 in cave Altamira Spain. There in XII centuries before Christ were painted horses, deers, bears, mammoth. It is being suggested that this paintings were made in special rituals, in which the ancient hunters were doing as a mean of prayer to be able to be successful in killing the animal victims and obtaining the daily food.
Similar pictures are found also in France, Sahara, Mala Asia and also include depiction of animals. Everywhere the scenes are showing, animals in motion. In some places are painted hunters which doesn’t hold spears / weapons. The technique for creating the paint material is a mixture of mashed minerals and animal products.

Delete domain in Google Analytics howto – Remove obsolete website from Analytics

Delete-domain-in-Google-Analytics-howto-remove-analytics-website-Google-Analytics_logo
If you are like me your Google Analytics might have quite a few websites in it which you don’t use anymore or which for example are websites of old clients or friends you helped with. You might want to clean this up.

Now within Google Analytics you can’t ‘just’ select a few and delete them (don’t know why not), you have to take a few steps to delete the accounts, but when done, you will have a nice clean Google Analytics.

I’ve just cleaned up my Google Analytics and thought I’d share the process with you so you will know how easy it really is. I did this on my Google+ page originally but because people seemed to like it and not everybody seemed to know how it should be done I thought I’d share it here as well.

Steps to remove a website (profile) from Google Analytics

Step 1: Go to the Admin tab in Google Analytics

Step 2: Select the domain and the property (website), then click ‘view settings’ in the 3rd column

Google-Analytics-step-delete-view-howto

Step 3: Scroll down the page and click ‘Delete view’

Google-Analytics-step-delete-view-howto

Step 4: Confirm the deletion

You will receive a confirmation of the deletion in your e-mail.
That’s all it should not show up more in your google analytics account.

Enjoy 🙂

How to See Load Avarage on Windows server with command line

I need to prepare a document called Operational Readiness Test (ORT) for a Windows server which will be going to production soon in that regards its necessery to fill-in the ORT document form the server load avarage. Here is how to get a Windows load avarage from command line:

C:\> wmic cpu get loadpercentage
LoadPercentage
1

alternative way to get Windows system load avarage data is with a short BAT for loop

C:\> @for /f “skip=1” %p in (‘wmic cpu get loadpercentage’) do @echo %p%
%p%
1%
%

That’s all now we have Windows Load Avarage. Note that this command should work on Windows 7 / 8 / Windows server 2012. Haven’t tested that on Windows XP and NT 4.0 but I guess it should be working too.

wmic command is very interesting one I advise you check out its complete help:

Install Creative labs webcam live vf0220 on Windows 7 driver working howto

creative-webcam-live-vf0220-im install on windows 7 howto
1) Download the original drivers from the Creative Support website:

this should be the support page for the webcam… Creative Worldwide Support > Live! Cam Video IM (VF0220)

and this should be a direct link to the file you need to download under the voice “Creative Live! Cam Video IM (VF0220) Driver v1.03.02” the file downloaded should be “LCVM_PCDRV_US_1_03_02.exe
Creative Worldwide Support

2) You need to download a copy of Universal Extractor from here: Universal Extractor | LegRoom.net

get the installer or the binary if you just want a portable version that doesn’t need to be installed.
I personally use the binaries so i don’t have to install anything, but if you like to have some context menu features then you may opt for the installer.

3) Use Universal Extractor to decompress the content of the driver you just downloaded “LCVM_PCDRV_US_1_03_02.exe“.
Uniextractor should ask you for the source file to extract, a destination where to decompress the file and to continue it will prompt which extraction method to use.
This time choose ‘Not an InstallShield installer’ option and click ok.
If everything went well, you should have the following files in the location you specified before:

ct_cabinfo.ini
ct_cabinfo.txt
ct_cabinfo.xml
LCVM_PCDRV_US_1_03_02.EXE

I installed the driver and application and both work on windows 7. LCVM_PCDRV_US_1_03_02.exe.
LCC_PCAPP_LA_2_02_05.exe.

Here it is important to change compatability options to make it working on Windows 7.
a. Get both files from creative labs (vista compatible).

b. Go to the folder where you downloaded them to.

c. Right click each file in turn and select troubleshoot compatibility.

d. Select troubleshoot program

e. Select,The program worked in earlier versions of windows.

6.Select Windows Vista(Service pack 2)
4) Now we need to use Universal Extractor for a second time on this extracter executable, but this time we will choose another Extract Method.
So apply Universal Extractor to the extracted “LCVM_PCDRV_US_1_03_02.exe” file; choose a destination folder and when prompted for the Extraction Method this time select ‘E_Wise Unpacker‘.
You should end up with two extracted folders; one MAINDIR folder and a TEMP one.
In the MAINDIR folder you should now have the driver setup files.

5) What we need to do right now is to modify the content of some of this files so that we tell Windows 7 that they are compatible with it’s drivers standard.
In particular we will have to change the following three .ini files:

CtDrvStp.ini
CtSetupX.ini
V0220Dev.inf

Simply edit them with Notepad and change the following lines

[Version]
Signature =”$Windows NT$”

with this new signature

[Version]
Signature =”$Chicago$”

Be sure to change it in all 3 files and now you should be finally be able to install the drivers correctly.
Get ready to resurrect your beloved webcam.
Double click CtDrvStp.exe and good luck!

It worked for me…

What is the real job of most people nowadays who work with computers – Sad but True fact :)

what-is-current-it-professionals-real-job-diagram
Its amazingly what kind of world, we’re living nowadays the definition from knowledge is starting to blur, as nowone doesn’t have the physical time resource to learn and capacity to digest all the information.
The advent of Search Engines changed dramatically how we Work, Play and Relax.
The amount of information explosion is hitting us badly the more information, we have the more we want so we end up in a nuclear reaction chain-like process a tendency not likely to over except if there is no a cataclysm or a world war.

Man’s way of fixing things has changed, as even the most knowledgable on a certain topic or profession, have a lot of gap knowledges filled up by someone else on earth, who might have shared it already Online in Google.
The increase of Searching on the Internet for a solutions, made us certainly much more passive and more of a consumers than producers and sadly this is not of the best things to happen to us over the last 20 centuries.

In IT professions above diagram is more is even more adequate, as we’re totally dependent on Googling, to do even basic daily sysadmin / programmer work. There is even a whole generation of .NET programmers (who can’t really program but rely heavily on copy pasting assembling to come up with Companies Software production), in system administration job field situation is also similar, as many of the errors we get from services / applications are not existent in official documentation but experienced by someone else who suggested solution.

With the increase of use of Internet Search engine use and information we have to interpret daily, our mind advanced his capability to forget, because our brains are overfilled with information. That’s why often even though we have red a lot online, we can’t remember hardly anything. In short future this could bring us in a situation, where we will need Google embedded access traight into our brains – this is a science fiction now but in short future there is high chance for this to happen (it could be that is why the Bible prophet st. John tells us in Bible’s last chapter Apocalypsis that the Anti-Christ will set a mark to everyone, it is my guess that the mark on the forehead could be even an implant allowing the user to access the internet from anywhere through a virtual interface (chip) to project objects straight into humans head).

How to see What Google knows about you – Google Dashboard and Google Ads Settings

Everyone knows about disclosures of Edward Snowden against hidden surveillance (spy) program PRISM that is taking place all across the Internet, messages, mobile phones and cameras are being logged and profiles of people are being created.

For anyone involved into IT field (Geeks, Hackers, Programmers) it was clear that such a mass spy is being conducted this is why many hackers like Richard Stallman decided to not use mobile phones and non-free software (which is another Troyan horse) for America and world governments.
Every intelligent person has already understood that the reason for this surveillance is the creation of online electronic file of every person on earth.

Most likely Big companies like Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Yahoo all were financed by National Security Agency(NSA) in order to be able to collect as much information as possible for global citizens.
Modern technology was purposely invented and spread as a mean to not only track human behaviors but also to speed-up Globalism and fostering of a global society.

We already know that anyone having an Android smartphone is a holding a personal tracking and reporting device to Google, anyone using Youtube is also reporting on his watching preferences to.
Anyone with Android if logged to Google Play often unknowingly shares and imports his pictures into Google Picasa.

Anyone having a Gmail Mail account shares his personal email correspondence with the Giant. Google books reports on us, Google even keeps tracks of our searches (if we’re logged in to some type of Google Account which until recently become Universal (e.g. One login for all). It is rather scary to know exactly how much google knows about every citizen on planet who uses the internet …

There are already Two Google interfaces which allows to see in a very basic way some of the things Google knows about us.
And even the little to see raises a serious concern about our personal privacy …

St. Euphemia (III century) martyr who prooved Monophysitism is heresy visit Elder Paisios

saint-Euphomia-who-prooved-monophysisum-visiting-elder-Paisios
St. Euphemia is a saint whose miracle has clearly proofed which one is true Christianity when there was a argue between Monophysites and Orthodox Christians on 4th Ecumenical Council

Here is the miracle of saint Eupemia by whose testimony (miracle) shown which is the true Christian (Orthodox) doctrine

“The Miracle of Saint Euphemia the All-Praised: The holy Great Martyr Euphemia (September 16) suffered martyrdom in the city of Chalcedon in the year 304, during the time of the persecution against Christians by the emperor Diocletian (284-305). One and a half centuries later, at a time when the Christian Church had become victorious within the Roman Empire, God deigned that Euphemia the All-Praised should again be a witness and confessor of the purity of the Orthodox teaching.

In the year 451 in the city of Chalcedon, in the very church where the glorified relics of the holy Great Martyr Euphemia rested, the sessions of the Fourth Ecumenical Council (July 16) took place. The Council was convened for determining the precise dogmatic formulae of the Orthodox Church concerning the nature of the God-Man Jesus Christ. This was necessary because of the widespread heresy of the Monophysites [“mono-physis” meaning “one nature”], who opposed the Orthodox teaching of the two natures in Jesus Christ, the Divine and the Human natures (in one Divine Person). The Monophysites falsely affirmed that in Christ was only one nature, the Divine [i.e. that Jesus is God but not man, by nature], causing discord and unrest within the Church. At the Council were present 630 representatives from all the local Christian Churches. On the Orthodox side Anatolius, Patriarch of Constantinople (July 3), Juvenal, Patriarch of Jerusalem (July 2), and representatives of St Leo, Pope of Rome (February 18) participated in the conciliar deliberations. The Monophysites were present in large numbers, headed by Dioscorus, the Patriarch of Alexandria, and the Constantinople archimandrite Eutychius.
After prolonged discussions the two sides could not come to a decisive agreement.
The holy Patriarch Anatolius of Constantinople proposed that the Council submit the decision of the Church dispute to the Holy Spirit, through His undoubted bearer St Euphemia the All-Praised, whose wonderworking relics had been discovered during the Council’s discussions. The Orthodox hierarchs and their opponents wrote down their confessions of faith on separate scrolls and sealed them with their seals. They opened the tomb of the holy Great Martyr Euphemia and placed both scrolls upon her bosom. Then, in the presence of the emperor Marcian (450-457), the participants of the Council sealed the tomb, putting on it the imperial seal and setting a guard to watch over it for three days. During these days both sides imposed upon themselves strict fast and made intense prayer. After three days the patriarch and the emperor in the presence of the Council opened the tomb with its relics: the scroll with the Orthodox confession was held by St Euphemia in her right hand, and the scroll of the heretics lay at her feet. St Euphemia, as though alive, raised her hand and gave the scroll to the patriarch. After this miracle many of the hesitant accepted the Orthodox confession, while those remaining obstinant in the heresy were consigned to the Council’s condemnation and excommunication.

Here is the story of holy Euphemia visiting Elder Paisios

One day Father Paisios was going through a very difficult phase. A problem was created in the Church at that time and many bishops had gone to him to ask for his help. However, it was a very complicated problem and even if he wanted to, he was unable to assist; as he said, no matter from which side you look at the problem, you come face to face with a spiritual impasse. So, he decided to turn his efforts to solve the problem with prayer. During that time, Father Paisios constantly prayed for God to give solution to the Church’s problem; he prayed especially to St. Ephemia:”St. Euphemia, you who miraculously solved the serious problem the Church was facing then, take the Church out of the present impasse!”

saint-Euphomia-visits-elder-Paisios-on-Holy-mount-Athos
One morning, at nine o’ clock, when Father Paisios was reading the service of the third hour, he suddenly heard someone discreetly knocking on his door. The Elder asked from inside:

“Who is it?” Then, he heard a woman’s voice answering:

“It is me, Euphemia, Father.”

“Which Euphemia?” He asked again. There was no answer. There was another knock on the door and he asked again. “Who is it?” The same voice was heard saying:

“It is Euphemia, Father.”

There was a third knock and the Elder felt someone coming inside his cell and walking through the corridor. He went to the door and there he saw St. Euphemia, who had miraculously entered his cell through the locked door and was venerating the icon of the Holy Trinity, which the Elder had placed on the wall of his corridor, on the right hand side of the church’s door. Then the Elder told the Saint: “Say: Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” St. Euphemia clearly repeated those words and immediately Father Paisios knelt and venerated the Saint. Afterwards, they sat and talked for quite a while; he could not specify for how long, as he had lost all sense of time while being with St. Euphemia. She gave the solution for all three matters he had been praying for and in the end he said to her: “I would like you to tell me how you endured your martyrdom.”

The Saint replied: “Father, if I knew back then how eternal life would be and the heavenly beauty the souls enjoy by being next to God, I honestly would have asked for my martyrdom to last for ever, as it was absolutely nothing compared to the gifts of grace of God!”

Towards the end of June, the doctors informed [Elder Paisios] that he had about 2-3 weeks left. On Monday, July 11, on St. Euphemia’s day, Father Paisios received Holy Communion for the last time, kneeling in front of his bed. During the last 24 hours, he was very serene, and even though he suffered, he did not complain at all. He did not wish to take any more medication. The only medicine he accepted was cortisone, because, according to the doctors, it would not prolong his life span, but it would only give him some strength. On Tuesday, July 12, Elder Paisios humbly and peacefully rendered his soul to God, whom he had deeply loved and served since his early childhood.
